On October 16, Garen Nazarian, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia received at the MFA Ryszard Czarnecki, Vice-President of European Parliament, Vice-President of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.

Congratulating the guest on awarded RA National Assembly Medal of Honour, Deputy FM commended Ryszard Czarnecki’s significant contribution to strengthening of friendly inter-parliamentary ties, his efficient role in the discussion and adoption of respective decisions and resolutions on the issues of South Caucasus region in the European Parliament.

Deputy Foreign Minister Nazarian highly commended Vice-President of European Parliament Czarnecki’s participation in the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, as well as the activity directed to raising of awareness on the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) issue among European legislators.

Process of Armenia-European Union cooperation and steps to-be-undertaken in the near future were reflected on at the meeting.
