On December 1, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in Brussels on a working, had a meeting with Margot Wallström, Foreign Minister of Sweden.

During the meeting, Minister Nalbandian noted that Armenia attaches great importance to the development of cooperation between Armenia and Sweden in political, economic and humanitarian areas, outlining that recently the Armenian-Swedish relations have significantly been activated, which was reflected by the intensification of mutual visits and political dialogue.

During the conversation, issues on organizing high-level mutual visits, enhancing cooperation within international organizations, expanding the legal framework were discussed.

Ministers Nalbandian and Wallström exchanged views on the Armenia-EU cooperation.

Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Sweden touched upon the urgent international issues and the efforts being undertaken towards their resolution.

Edward Nalbandian presented to Margot Wallström the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
