On December 3, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, who participates in the activities of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade, had a meeting with Timo Soini, Foreign Minister of Finland.

During the meeting Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Finland expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics in relations between two countries. They discussed the joint steps to be undertaken towards the development of bilateral relations, as well as issues concerning the organization of mutual high-level visits, expansion of legal framework, holding of consultations between Foreign Ministries and enhancement of cooperation within international organizations.

Edward Nalbandian and Timo Soini exchanged views on relations between Armenia and the EU.

Upon the request of Foreign Minister of Finland, Minister Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Co-Chairs aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Timo Soini invited Edward Nalbandian to visit Finland.
