Foreign Minister of Armenia delivered a speech at the OSCE Ministerial Council

On December 3, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, delivered a speech at the 22nd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade.

In his remarks Minister Nalbandian touched upon the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and its meaning, the manifestations of the solidarity of the Armenian people with international community. In this context Edward Nalbandian introduced the initiatives of Armenia towards the prevention of genocides and the resolutions adopted by the UN institutions.

Edward Nalbandian presented in details the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Co-Chairs towards a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the non-constructive steps of Azerbaijan aimed at undermining the negotiations and escalating the tension in the conflict zone.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia briefed on the issues of the OSCE agenda and the efforts that the international community undertakes in its fight against terrorism.
