The meeting between Foreign Minister of Armenia and Minister of National Defence of Greece

On December 16, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, had a meeting with Panos Kammenos, Minister of National Defence of Greece.

Foreign Minister Nalbandian welcomed the guest and noted that both countries are connected with numerous historical and cultural links, and Armenia attaches importance to the further deepening and expansion of relations with traditionally friendly Greece.

The Minister of National Defence of Greece outlined that his country highly appreciates the Armenian-Greek interstate relations based on mutual trust, adding that Greece is interested in the further development and strengthening of relations with the Republic of Armenia.

Foreign Minister of Armenia expressed satisfaction with the broadening military cooperation between Armenia and Greece.

Minister Nalbandian presented to Panos Kammenos the efforts exerted by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs towards the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the current situation in the line of contact resulted by the Azerbaijani ongoing provocations.

At the meeting the sides exchanged views on a number of pressing regional issues, the fight of international community against terrorism.
