On December 23, consultations on information provision of foreign policy between the respective Departments of Press and Information of the MFAs of Armenia and Russia were held in Moscow, according to 2014-2015 consultations’ schedule between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of two states.

During the consultations, issues on operating of Russian media in Armenia and Armenian media in Russia were discussed, peculiarities of informational support within Eurasian Economic Union and Collective Security Treaty Organization were reflected on.

The participants of the meeting exchanged thoughts on dissemination of information through social networks and further effective use of the opportunities thus created.

Both sides attached significance to the necessity of implementation of educational programs in the field of information and sharing of experience.
