On February 8, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, met Maja Gojković, President of the National Assembly (Narodna skupština) of Serbia.

Welcoming the President of the National Assembly, Foreign Minister of Armenia commended the historical, traditional, friendly relations of Armenian and Serbian peoples, that provide a good foundation for the development of cooperation between the two states.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Maja Gojković mentioned that Serbia attaches importance to the development of relations with friendly Armenia and she is honored to be the first President of the National Assembly of Serbia to visit Armenia.

During the meeting, issues on strengthening of cooperation between the parliaments of two states and more effective engagement within parliamentary assemblies of international organizations were discussed.

Minister Nalbandian presented to the guest the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement.
