Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia

On February 12 Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, who participates in the Munich Security Conference, had a meeting with Mikheil Janelidze, Foreign Minister of Georgia.

Congratulating his counterpart on assuming the office of Foreign Minister of friendly Georgia, Edward Nalbandian expressed confidence that the joint efforts will contribute to the further expansion and deepening of the Armenian-Georgian friendly relations.

Thanking for congratulation and good wishes, Mikheil Janelidze noted that his country attaches importance to the development of comprehensive cooperation with Armenia and to the continuation of efforts in that direction.

The sides exchanged views on cooperation in various fields, emphasized the significance of high-level mutual visits, holding of consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, deepening of cooperation within international institutions.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia invited his Georgian counterpart to visit Yerevan.
