Meeting with the Students of College of Europe in the MFA

On March 10, Tigran Mkrtchyan, the Head of the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Affairs received approximately six dozens of students, representing 24 countries, from the College of Europe (Bruges, Natolin), one of the most prestigious educational centres of political science and international relations in Europe.

Tigran Mkrtchyan presented the priorities and main directions of foreign policy of Armenia, Armenia’s approaches on the settlement of regional issues and the ways to resolve them.

The Head of the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations reflected on Armenia’s membership in international integration processes. In this context Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union as well as Armenia-European Union cooperation were touched upon.

Tigran Mkrtchyan presented the negotiation process towards exclusively peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, efforts exerted by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in that direction.

During the meeting, Tigran Mkrtchyan answered numerous questions raised by professors and students of the College of Europe.
