On March 10, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in Moscow within the delegation headed by the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, met Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

During the meeting, the sides reflected on cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two states, holding of regular consultations.

Ministers Nalbandian and Lavrov exchanged thoughts on pressing international and regional issues.

At the end of the meeting Edward Nalbandian and Sergey Lavrov signed the Program of Consultations for 2016-2017 between the MFAs of Armenia and Russia, according to which nearly 3 dozen of consultations are scheduled to be held during the next two years on international and regional issues, information provision, consular and other issues.
