On March 31, consultations on information provision of foreign policy between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Czech Republic were held in Prague.

During the consultations, Tigran Mkrtchyan, Head of the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations and Tigran Balayan, Spokesman of the MFA held meetings with senior officials and staff members of Press Department of the MFA of the Czech Republic, became familiar with the work of their Czech counterparts, discussed cooperation opportunities.

The participants of the meeting exchanged views on dissemination of information through social networks and further effective use of the opportunities thus created.

The sides attached importance to implementation of educational projects in the information environment and the necessity of exchange of experience.

Officials of the MFA of Armenia also visited RFE/RL's Headquarters in Prague, and had a meeting with Daisy Sindelar, Regional Director for Europe, Hrayr Tamrazyan, Director of Radio Liberty Armenian service and other staff members.
