On April 26, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian had a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov, during which the Foreign Minister of Armenia informed about the blatant breaches of the cease-fire regime in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict-zone by Azerbaijan.

The sides stressed the impermissibility of violations of the 1994 ceasefire agreement and 1995 agreement on the consolidation of ceasefire, and the necessity of unconditional observation of the agreements.
