The third round of Armenia-EU negotiations were held in Yerevan

On May 12, third round of negotiations on a new legal framework of Armenia-European Union relations was held in Yerevan.

Garen Nazarian, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, and Dirk Schuebel, Head of Division for bilateral relations with the Eastern Partnership countries in the European External Action Service co-chaired the negotiations.

Provisions of the chapters on political dialogue, reforms, cooperation in the fields of justice and freedoms were discussed during the negotiations.

A plenary session followed, during which the results of negotiations, held with the European side so far, concerning sectoral as well as trade and investment issues were summarized, and the agenda and schedule of forthcoming discussions were outlined.
