On May 26, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the delegation of the Armenian Assembly of America, headed by Van Krikorian, Co-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Assembly.

The interlocutors discussed steps undertaken towards overcoming of the consequences of military aggression launched by Azerbaijan, issues on implementation of the arrangements reached at the Summit meeting of the previous week in Vienna.

During the meeting, the process of international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide were reflected on; issues on pan-Armenian agenda were discussed.

Edward Nalbandian and Van Krikorian touched upon Armenia-US relations, attached importance to the results achieved since the independence. The major role of the Armenian community of America was stressed in strengthening of relations between Armenia and the United States.
