Newly-appointed Ambassador of Ethiopia presented the copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister

On July 11, Grum Abay Teshome, the newly-appointed Ambassador of Ethiopia to Armenia (residence in Moscow), presented the copies of his credentials to Armen Papikyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, Deputy Foreign Minister noted that the historical, religious and cultural ties between Armenia and Ethiopia create a solid basis for the development of bilateral relations. At the same time, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed confidence that the Ambassador would have his significant input in the deepening and strengthening of bilateral collaboration in different fields.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, in particular, the opportunities of deepening the cooperation in the fields of education, culture, agriculture, information technologies and the steps to be undertaken.

Deputy Foreign Minister and the Ambassador outlined the importance of the cooperation within international organizations.
