On July 15, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian participated in public debate dedicated to the observations of civil society on Armenia-EU relations, organized by “Partnership for Open Society” initiative.

The Deputy Minister informed  participants on key directions and recent developments in the cooperation with the European Union and the EU member states. He reiterated the government's commitment to strengthen and expand comprehensive relations with the EU, stressing the importance of negotiations on a new legal instrument which is to be completed in the foreseeable future.

Garen Nazarian emphasized the importance of constant attention of the civil society to the process and expressed willingness to continue the exchange of views in similar format.

The Deputy Foreign Minister also answered numerous questions of the participants and the media.
