On November 18, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, received Kai Kaarelson, the newly appointed Ambassador of Estonia to Armenia (residence in Tbilisi) on the occasion of presenting the copies of her credentials.

Congratulating on the appointment, Minister Nalbandian wished Ambassador Kaarelson success in her mission to further develop relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador thanked for the reception and good wishes, and assured that she would spare no effort to develop the cooperation in different areas.

During the meeting numerous issues of bilateral agenda were discussed, including cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, information technologies and culture. The sides touched upon the intensification of interparliamentary contacts, expansion of legal framework.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia and the Ambassador of Estonia exchanged views on the Armenia-EU cooperation.
