The newly appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria presented copies of her credentials to Foreign Minister

On December 1, Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva, newly appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria to Armenia, presented the copies of her credentials to Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Congratulating the Ambassador on her appointment, Edward Nalbandian noted that the Armenian-Bulgarian relations which are based on the centuries-old traditional friendship create a solid basis for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. The Foreign Minister of Armenia wished success to the Ambassador and expressed hope that she will use her experience and knowledge to further expand relations between the two countries.

Thanking for the reception and wishes, Ms. Pavlova reassured that she will do her utmost to deepen and strengthen relations between the two friendly countries and to foster the Armenian-Bulgarian agenda.

During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the Armenian-Bulgarian cooperation in political, economic and sectoral areas, as well as discussed the recent regional developments.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia and the Ambassador of Bulgaria underlined the importance of organizing high-level visits, holding consultations between the Foreign Ministries, and expanding legal framework.

Foreign Minister Nalbandian presented to Ambassador Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva the efforts exerted by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries to create conducive conditions for the advancement of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement process.
