The sixth round of Armenia-EU negotiations was held in Brussels

On December 9, the sixth round of negotiations over a new framework agreement between Armenia and the European Union was held in Brussels.

The Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian and the EU delegation was headed by Luc Devigne, Director of Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, OSCE and Regional Cooperation of the European External Action Service.

The provisions of political dialogue, the Main and Final chapters of the draft agreement were discussed.

The negotiations were followed by a plenary session, during which the sides summarized the results of negotiations over chapters on political, sectoral cooperation, trade and investment. They also agreed on the timetable of next rounds of negotiations.
