25th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Brazil

Edward Nalbandian and Josè Serra exchanged letters on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Federative Republic of Brazil.

In his message the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia notes that strong relations have been built between Armenia and Brazil based on mutual confidence and respect, which are reflected in continuous high-level political dialogue, dynamic cooperation on a wide range of issues of mutual interest. Edward Nalbandian expresses readiness to continue close cooperation in order to further expand and develop friendly partnership between the two countries.

In his message, Josè Serra notes that the relations between the two countries have been further strengthened by the reciprocal opening of resident embassies as well as through maintaining in recent years of the high-level political dialogue. He underlines the importance of further development of bilateral relations, in particular, the convergence of political relations, deepening of sectoral cooperation and encouragement of investments. At the same time, he touches upon the perspective of closer ties between such regional arrangements as MERCOSUR and the Eurasian Economic Union.

Edward Nalbandian and Josè Serra underlined the role of the Brazilian Armenian Community in creation of firm links between the two countries as well as in development of cultural diversity in Brazil.
