On February 17, in Munich Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, had a meeting with Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Edward Nalbandian emphasized the important humanitarian mission of the ICRC while highly appreciating the continuous activities of the ICRC in the zone of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Peter Maurer underlined the ICRC’s determination to continue the decades long efficient cooperation with Armenia.

During the talks, the sides stressed that the parties of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should strictly adhere to the norms of international humanitarian law.
