On February 18, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, who was participating in the work of the Munich Security Conference, had a meeting with Dimitris Avramopoulos, the EU Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship.

The interlocutors discussed the process of negotiations over the Armenia-EU new framework agreement.

Edward Nalbandian and Dimitris Avramopoulos touched upon the successful implementation of the Armenia - EU Visa Facilitation and Readmission Agreements which entered into force three years ago.

During the meeting views were exchanged on the issues related to launching of a dialogue on visa liberalisation between Armenia and the European Union.

Concluding his visit to Munich, Edward Nalbandian returned to Yerevan.
