On March 11, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian had a working lunch with well-known members of the “Valdai” international research club Andrei Bystritskiy, Fyodor Lukyanov, Timofei Bordachev, Yaroslav Lissovolik, Anatoly Torkunov, Vitaly Naumkin, Nikolai Zlobin, Alexander Rahr, Ivan Timofeev, Alexander Smirnov and Oleg Tsatsurin, who were in Yerevan to participate in the visiting session of the club.

Welcoming the guests, Foreign Minister Nalbandian highlighted the importance of holding the session of the “Valdai” club in Yerevan and wished its participants a fruitful and substantial discussions, at the same time underlining the need of holding on a regular basis of this type of meetings.

Minister Nalbandian briefed the leading analysts on the main directions of the foreign policy of Armenia.

During the meeting, a detailed exchange of views took place on a number of urgent regional and international issues and the ways of their settlement.
