On March 15, Ashot Hovakimyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, received Victor Guminski, the first deputy of the Executive secretary of the CIS Executive committee and Yevgeni Sloboda, the head of the department of the Executive Committee, who arrived to Armenia for the opening of the CIS Observation Mission for the parliamentary elections to be held on April 2.

During the meeting Viktor Guminsky informed about the steps undertaken by the CIS for the organisation of the work of the Observation Mission.

Deputy Foreign Minister welcomed the participation of the CIS Observation Mission, informed of the changes to be made in the political system of Armenia, touched upon reforms in the legal field
