25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Finland

Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Timo Soini exchanged letters on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Finland.

Edward Nalbandian in his message notes with satisfaction that the bilateral relations between Armenia and Finland are based on high level of trust and respect.

Minister Nalbandian stresses that Armenia attaches great importance to the cooperation with Finland. Throughout the past quarter of a century our partnership has continuously flourished encompassing wide range of spheres of mutual interest. Foreign Minister of Armenia underlines that we highly value the cooperation within international organisations contributing to the worldwide efforts in addressing the common challenges and threats.

Edward Nalbandian notes that we have explored only a small part of the great potential that exists in our relations, and expresses confidence that with joint efforts the partnership between our countries will further strengthen and expand.

Timo Soini in his message notes that Finland and Armenia enjoy longstanding and friendly relations. Foreign Minister of Finland stresses that over two decades of bilateral cooperation have brought us many common achievements, and we have every reason to be proud of that.

Minister Soini underlines that Finland is willing to further strengthen good relations with Armenia.

Foreign Minister of Finland notes with pleasure the conclusion of the negotiations on the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between the European Union and Armenia. Minister Soini expresses confidence that new agreement will strengthen the deepening relations between the EU and Armenia even further.
