Newly-appointed Ambassador of Mongolia presented copies of her credentials to Foreign Minister

On April 10, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, received Banzragch Delgermaa, the newly-appointed Ambassador of Mongolia (residence in Moscow) who handed over the copies of her credentials.


Welcoming the accreditation of Mongolia’s first Ambassador to Yerevan, Minister Nalbandian congratulated Banzragch Delgermaa on her appointment and wished her success in her important mission. Minister expressed hope that she will direct her activity towards developing bilateral cooperation.

Banzragch Delgermaa expressed her gratitude for the reception and congratulations and assured that Mongolia is interested in expanding relations with Armenia and that she will do her utmost to strengthen the bilateral partnership.

A number of issues related to development of cooperation between the two countries in different areas, enhancement of cooperation within the framework of international organisations, formation of legal framework, holding regular consultations between the Foreign Ministries, promotion of trade and economic relations, cultural exchanges, cooperation in the spheres of science and education were discussed. The sides attached importance to facilitation of visa regime.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Delgermaa exchanged views on development of partnership between the EAEU and Mongolia.

The interlocutors touched upon a number of urgent regional and international issues.
