On April 27-29, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan conducted a visit to Artsakh.

In the framework of the visit, Deputy Foreign Minister was received by Bako Sahakyan, President of Artsakh.

During the meeting, the sides discussed number of foreign policy related issues to as well as further development and expansion of collaboration of the two Armenian states in that sphere. Thoughts were exchanged on numerous issues of the foreign policy agenda of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and the Republic of Armenia.

Shavarsh Kocharyan also had meetings with Prime Minister of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan and Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan.

In the framework of the visit, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia delivered lectures at the Artsakh State University and Shushi Technological University. In his speeches and while answering the questions, Shavarsh Kocharyan spoke about the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Armenia and the approaches of Armenia to a number of international and regional issues and the ways of their settlement.
