Newly-appointed Ambassador of Peru handed over copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister of Armenia

On May 11, Luis Benjamin Chimoy Arteaga the newly-appointed Ambassador of Peru (residence in Moscow) handed over the copies of his credentials to Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Minister Nalbandian congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment and wished him success in his important mission. Foreign Minister of Armenia expressed hope that the Ambassador of Peru will contribute to the development of relations and discovering of new directions of cooperation between geographically remote but nevertheless friendly countries.

Ambassador Chimoy Arteaga expressed gratitude for the welcome and the good wishes, and in his turn noted that Peru considers Armenia as a friendly country and that he intends to undertake steps to promote cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

The interlocutors touched upon the bilateral agenda, urgent regional and international issues.
