On May 19 Ambassador of Armenia to the United States Grigor Hovhannissian visited one of the leading military academies in the United States - the US Army War College (USAWC).

During his visit Ambassador Hovhannissian held a meeting with the War College commandant, Major General William E. Rapp. They touched upon the results and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the framework of International Military Education and Training Program (IMET).

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction that some seven Armenian senior officers have successfully completed training at the USAWC, and expressed hope that the cooperation will be ongoing.

Ambassador Hovhannissian participated and delivered a speech in a class discussion with college students, as well as had a meeting with the Armenian officers, studying at the USAWC.
