On June 6 Armenian Ambassador to the US Grigor Hovhannissian held a meeting with Deputy Assistant Secretary (Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs) Bridget Brink, Director of the Office of Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflicts Natasha Franceschi, Armenia Desk Officer Ted Massey and Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Armenia Rafik Mansour.

Ambassador Hovhannissian and DAS Brink discussed a number of issues related to all aspects of US-Armenia relations, including the prospects of further developing Armenian-American cooperation.

Deputy Assistant Secretary Brink stressed the focus of US administration on security and economy related issues in its relations with foreign countries.

Ambassador Hovhannissian emphasized the importance of increasing the volume of trade between Armenia and the US, as well as extending cooperation in the аrеа of information technologies, considering the progress Armenia has made in this field during the recent years.
