On June 23, in Belgrade, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian participated in the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.

The Armenian Foreign Minister conveyed to the President of Serbia the congratulations and best wishes of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of assuming that high and responsible position.

Minister Nalbandian also noted, that the centuries-old friendship between Armenian and Serbian peoples, anchored on historical and cultural similarities, serves as a solid basis for further expansion and deepening of inter-state relations, and Armenia attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with Serbia, both in bilateral and multilateral dimensions.

In Belgrade, Edward Nalbandian also participated in the working dinner, given by Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić.
