On July 14, at the initiative of the Indian side, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian and the Minister of State for External Affairs of India Shri M. J. Akbar.

During the conversation, the Ministers touched upon the state of implementation of the agreements, reached with the Armenian authorities during the visit of the Vice President of India Hamid Ansari to Yerevan, exchanged views on the steps that are being undertaken towards developing bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Edward Nalbandian and Shri Akbar discussed issues related to collaboration within the framework of international organisations.
