The newly appointed Ambassador of Denmark presented the copies of credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister

On July 28, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Garen Nazarian received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark Ruben Madsen (residence in Kiev) who presented him the copies of his credentials.

Deputy Minister Nazarian congratulated Ambassador Madsen on his appointment and expressed hope that during his tenure the Armenian-Danish friendly relations will acquire a new quality.

Ambassador Madsen expressed gratitude for the reception and assured that he would do his best to expand relations in different spheres.

The prospects of further deepening the cooperation between the two countries in the bilateral and multilateral formats were discussed at the meeting.

The interlocutors highlighted the importance of expanding the Armenian-Danish political dialogue and exchanged views on boosting the trade-economic cooperation and intensifying relations in the areas of culture, tourism, energy and other areas of mutual interest.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon the Armenia-EU cooperation and the recent regional developments. At the guest's request, Deputy Foreign Minister Nazarian presented the joint efforts undertaken by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries aimed at creating conducive conditions for the advancement of the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the continuous destructive policy of Azerbaijan.
