On September 22, while paying a working visit to New York, Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, met with Mohammad Javad Zarif, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.

During the meeting the sides touched upon a wide range of issues on the agenda of the Armenian-Iranian friendly relations, exchanged views on the process of implementation of the agreements reached between the Presidents of the two countries, as well as the upcoming high-level mutual visits.

The Foreign Ministers also discussed issues of regional and international agenda.
