Political consultations between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Czech Republic

Օn October 2, political consultations between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Czech Republic were held in Yerevan. Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian, and the Czech delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Jakub Dürr.

In the course of the consultations, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to further development of Armenian-Czech relations, including steps to boost political, economic dialogue and cooperation in various sectoral directions. The sides touched upon the perspectives of enhancing Armenia-EU relations, as well as collaboration of the two countries within the framework of Eastern Partnership and international organisations.

On the same day the Czech delegation met with Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan. In the course of the meeting Deputy Minister Kocharyan briefed the Czech side on the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs aimed at advancement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, as well as touched upon the current issues related to regional security.
