On October 4, Robert Harutyunyan, Deputy Foreign Minister, met with Mindaugas Sinkevičius, Minister of Economy of Lithuania, and his delegation.

Deputy Minister highly appreciated the dynamics of development of the economic component of relations with Lithuania, highlighting the importance of bilateral investments and the need for exchange of experience in various fields.

In his turn, Minister of Economy of Lithuania emphasised the necessity of further deepening of trade and economic relations with Armenia, noting that Armenia and Lithuania have а great potential for cooperation in various areas, including within the frameworks of the EU and the EAEU.

Issues related to the development of bilateral relations, expansion of legal framework and promotion of trade and economic cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

The sides touched upon the work of the Armenian-Lithuanian Intergovernmental Commission session held on October 4 in Yerevan.
