25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkmenistan

On October 9, Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister of Armenia, and Rashid Meredov, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan, exchanged letters on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkmenistan.

In his message, Foreign Minister Nalbandian notes that past years have demonstrated the effectiveness of the initially adopted policy by the two countries of consistently developing bilateral interstate relations in all areas of mutual interest.

Minister Nalbandian notes with satisfaction that the current high-level Armenian-Turkmen political dialogue allows to solve all the issues of bilateral agenda in the spirit of constructive partnership.

Edward Nalbandian expresses conviction that the multilayered cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Turkmenistan will be further enhanced to promote the deepening of cooperation on regional and international issues and implementation of perspective programmes in economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

In his message, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan notes with satisfaction that the cooperation between Armenia and Turkmenistan, based on mutual respect and equality, has been consistently developing over these years.

Rashid Meredov states that a new dynamics in the Armenian-Turkmen political dialogue has recently been observed, which indicates the growth of mutual interest and the long-term prospects of bilateral partnership.

Concluding the message, Foreign Minister Meredov underlines that the two countries are actively working for raising the efficiency of bilateral ties in various spheres of cooperation.
