On October 27, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the Ambassador of Brazil to Armenia Edson Marinho Duarte Monteiro on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission.

Minister Nalbandian positively assessed the established warm friendly relations between Armenia and Brazil, highlighted Edson Monteiro`s personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations, and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Expressing gratitude for the constant support provided by the Foreign Ministry throughout his tenure, the Ambassador of Brazil expressed conviction that through the joint efforts the bilateral relations will continue to strengthen.

In an acknowledgement of the contribution to the development of relations between Armenia and Brazil, Edward Nalbandian awarded Edson Marinho Duarte Monteiro with the Medal of Honor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
