On November 7, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in Israel on an official visit, met with Ze'ev Elkin, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage.

Welcoming Edward Nalbandian, Minister Elkin noted that he has good memories of his numerous visits to Armenia and is glad to welcome Edward Nalbandian in Jerusalem.

The interlocutors agreed that friendly ties and mutual sympathy between the two peoples could create favorable conditions for strengthening the inter-state ties.

Edward Nalbandian and Ze'ev Elkin touched upon the rich historical Armenian heritage in Israel, as well as the activities of the Jewish community in Armenia.
