On November 29, Deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Hovakimian received the delegation headed by Alexander Shlyk, Director of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Department, who arrived in Armenia to discuss the final report of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission on parliamentary elections in Armenia, held on April 2, as well as the prospects for further cooperation.

Deputy Foreign Minister appreciated the role of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission in observing the elections and commended the cooperative relations established with the OSCE/ODIHR in various areas.

The OSCE/ODIHR delegation, in its turn, positively assessed the achievements of Armenia in electoral field, highlighting the need to strengthen them.
