Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met with representatives of Armenian community organizations of Greece

On December 12, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is paying an official visit to Athens, met with around forty representatives of Armenian organizations of Greece.

At the meeting, Edward Nalbandian presented the goals and agenda of his visit to Athens, the steps that are being taken for a further strengthening and development of the Armenian-Greek relations.

Minister touched upon the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the recent developments in the settlement process.

Edward Nalbandian informed the representatives of the Armenian community of Greece about the prospects of cooperation between Armenia and the European Union in the framework of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, introduced the approaches of Armenia on urgent international and regional issues, priorities of the foreign policy of Armenia.

Minister Nalbandian touched upon the results of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna, Armenia's upcoming Chairmanship in the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, and the Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie to be held next year in Yerevan.

Foreign Minister of Armenia answered the numerous questions of the attendees.
