Meeting of Ambassador Sadoyan with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili

On December 15, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan met with Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, the Prime Minister wished him fruitful work and assured that the Armenian Ambassador throughout his tenure will have the constant support of the Georgian authorities.

Referring to bilateral relations, Giorgi Kvirikashvili highlighted the importance of traditional, friendly Armenian-Georgian relations and added that there are great prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries. In this context, the Prime Minister noted with satisfaction the progress achieved in the recent period.

He emphasized that he does not recall any other period of time when the relations between Georgia and Armenia have been at such a high level. The Prime Minister also attached an importance to the warm personal relations forged between the leaders of the two countries, which greatly contributes to the deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The Ambassador of Armenia in his turn expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that he intends to take all efforts to further deepen the friendly relations between the two countries.

The sides shared the view that the planned high-level bilateral visits will further strengthen the relationship between the two friendly countries.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of Armenia expressed his gratitude to the Georgian authorities for their attention towards the Armenian community.
