Foreign Minister had a meeting with members of Senate and National Assembly of France

Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in Paris on a working visit, had a meeting with around forty members of Senate and National Assembly of France, representing various political forces.

At the meeting, Edward Nalbandian touched upon the centuries-old relations between the Armenian and French peoples, the achievements registered over the past 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and France. Foreign Minister of Armenia appreciated the important role of the parliaments of the two countries in deepening the Armenian-French cooperation.

In the light of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement with the EU, Foreign Minister of Armenia briefed on the Armenia-European Union relations.

Edward Nalbandian touched upon Armenia's leading role in the international efforts on the prevention of the crimes against humanity.

Foreign Minister of Armenia touched in a comprehensive manner upon the joint efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the latest developments in the settlement process.

Minister Nalbandian presented to French parliamentarians the approaches of Armenia on a number of regional issues and ways of their resolution.

Following the speech, Foreign Minister of Armenia answered the numerous questions of the attendees.
