Foreign Minister of Armenia, Chairman-in-Office of the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie Edward Nalbandian, who is on a visit in Paris, had a meeting with Michaëlle Jean, Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF). 

The results of the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie held in Paris in the end of November were discussed at the meeting.

Foreign Minister of Armenia and the Secretary General of OIF had an extensive exchange of views over the issues of preparations for the summit of La Francophonie and the sessions of other statutory bodies of the organization to be held in Yerevan in 2018.

The interlocutors touched in a comprehensive manner upon the issues of content of the summit, such as the elaboration of the documents to be adopted, the main directions of discussions, the francophone business forum.

Edward Nalbandian and Michaëlle Jean exchanged views on a number of directions of the OIF activities.
