Foreign Minister met with representatives of the Armenian community of France

On December 20, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in Paris on a visit, met with representatives of the French-Armenian community.

At the meeting, Edward Nalbandian presented the goals and the agenda of his visit to France, the steps taken towards further strengthening and development of the Armenian-French relations.

Minister touched upon the efforts made by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries aimed at the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the recent developments in the settlement process.

Edward Nalbandian informed the representatives of the Armenian community of France about the prospects of cooperation envisaged by the Armenia-European Union Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.

Foreign Minister briefed the participants of the meeting on Armenia's approaches with regards urgent international and regional issues, as well as foreign policy priorities of Armenia.

Edward Nalbandian touched upon the outcomes of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna and the Chairmanship of Armenia in the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

At the meeting with the representatives of the French-Armenian community, a special attention was paid to the preparatory works for the upcoming summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie to be held in Yerevan next year.

Foreign Minister of Armenia answered the numerous questions of the attendees.
