On January 24 Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan had a meeting with the Minister of Defense of Georgia Levan Izoria.

At the beginning of the meeting the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Armenian defense minister Vigen Sargsyan to his Georgian counterpart.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the course of actions envisaged within the military cooperation programme between Armenia and Georgia and the further prospective directions, in this context highlighting the importance of partnership in the areas of military education and military medicine.

Minister expressed satisfaction over the existing military cooperation between the two countries and informed that this year his official visit to Armenia is planned.

The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Defense Minister of Georgia Lela Chikovani, military attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Georgia, Colonel Samvel Ramazyan and Counselor of the Embassy Karen Parunakyan.
