On February 5, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Natasha Meli Daudey, the newly appointed Ambassador of Malta (residence in Warsaw) on the occasion of handing over the copies of her credentials.

Congratulating and wishing success to Ambassador Daudey, Minister Nalbandian expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will contribute to further expansion and strengthening of relations between Armenia and Malta.

Expressing gratitude for the reception and good wishes, Ambassador Daudey assured that she would spare no effort to give a new impetus to the relations between the two countries.

Recalling his meeting with Foreign Minister of Malta Carmelo Abela last December, Minister Nalbandian expressed confidence that the reached agreements will be implemented and will promote the political dialogue, cooperation in international structures, intensification of inter-parliamentary relations, trade-economic ties, cultural exchanges and expansion of legal framework.

Both sides noted that the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement opens new perspectives for deepening the cooperation both in bilateral and multilateral formats.

Minister Nalbandian briefed the interlocutor on the latest developments around the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the joint efforts of Armenia and the Minsk Group Co-Chair countries aimed at the exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict.
