Political consultations between Foreign Ministries of Republic of Armenia and Republic of Croatia

On February 9, political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Croatia were held in Yerevan. The Armenian delegation was led by Garen Nazarian, Deputy Foreign Minister, and the delegation of Croatia was headed by Vice Skračić, Assistant Minister for Political Affairs at Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.

A wide range of issues related to the development of Armenian-Croatian relations were on the agenda of the consultations. Attaching an importance to the mutual readiness to maintain the high level political dialogue, both sides highlighted the issues of development of trade-economic relations and targeted cooperation, the cooperation between the two countries in international structures, as well as the course of Armenia-EU relations.

During the consultations, Vice Skračić touched upon the recent developments in the region, particularly in Western Balkans, the Syrian issue and the migration crisis. Upon request of the Croatian diplomat, Deputy Minister Nazarian presented the efforts and approaches of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs aimed at the advancement of the process of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
