On March 2, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze, who arrived in Yerevan within the delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Georgia.

The Ministers acknowledged with satisfaction that high-level Armenian-Georgian contacts give an opportunity to oversee the process of implementation of the reached agreements and to outline new projects.

Edward Nalbandian and Mikheil Janelidze discussed issues related to holding regular consultations between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Georgia, strengthening the cooperation within international structures, expanding the legal framework, and convening the next regular session of the intergovernmental commission.

Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia touched upon a number of urgent regional and international issues.
