On March 14, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is paying an official visit to Copenhagen, met with Christian Juhl, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Denmark.

The interlocutors, highlighting the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation, noted that the strengthening of ties between Armenia and Denmark in this format would contribute to a further deepening of bilateral relations.

Edward Nalbandian briefed his interlocutor on Armenia's initiatives aimed at prevention of genocides and crimes against humanity, highlighting the joint efforts of the international community in this direction.

Minister Nalbandian informed his interlocutor of the transition to a parliamentary system of governance in Armenia following the constitutional reforms.

The agenda of the meeting included a number of issues of Armenian-Danish cooperation in different spheres, as well as issues of regional and international importance.

Edward Nalbandian briefed the Deputy Speaker of the Danish Parliament on the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
